Immediately when i took this out of the package, I was impressed with the quality. The stainless steel is sturdy, the handle is well-designed. I did use this to lift a layer onto the other, and it worked so well! The width of the spatula allows one to take a COOLED layer and with ease, place it in one swift movement to where it is supposed to go. I am so glad I have this in my 'gadgetry' collection.
