ImagiPlay Animal Alphabet Puzzle Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this (or rather Santa Claus got this) for my nearly 3 year old nephew. My nephew adores ANYTHING with animals and had seen this puzzle in an upscale catalog my sister received and pointed it out to her. It's given us the opportunity to introduce new words to him (unicorn and jaguar, for example) and he enjoys playing with the wooden animals as much (if not more) than putting them all back together. Actually, the adults in the family kind of like putting the puzzle back together as the animals fit together in sometimes unexpected ways. The colors are vivid and this puzzle would probably make a lovely decoration in a nursery until the child is old enough for it.
And can I just say how great it is to be able to give him a wooden toy that allows him to use his imagination and not something electronic that makes a whole lot of irritating noises?

Waldorf Maple Teether Natural Teething Ring Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This teether is magic! So many of my mommy books said that babies need something soft to use as a teether. That couldn't be father from the truth. They need something hard. After a friend recommended Palumba I bought one of their teethers from their website. When I gave it to my daughter she was holding it and looking at it with intense eyes. And then she put it in her mouth and it was like a soothing wind caught her breath and made everything roses. Pure magic!
Suggestion: Put a little water on it and put it in the fridge for a while.
Also, it is hand made in the USA, NOT CHINA - thank god!

Classic Embossed Alphabet Blocks ABC Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Great size, good quality, attractive primary colors, smooth edges and stack beautifully. Given to grand-daughter for 1st birthday along with the Uncle Goose Wagon and set of blocks and she plays with these on a daily basis. Loves to have someone stack them up so she can tumble them over and then laughs and giggles. She can build her own towers too! Imagine these will be played with for a very long time while many of the other toys from the October birthday are long forgotten. She loves "chewing" on the blocks but they do not splinter, come apart, chip or anything else as she continues to get the baby teeth in! Adults like playing with the blocks too...see all sorts of messages arranged with them that I know Abby did not do in spite of her genius status!
A first time grandma!
