(More customer reviews)I ordered this print for my wife for Christmas (she had seen it and loved it) and we received it on Christmas Eve. She was surprised and overwhelmed with it and quickly pointed out all the things in the picture that had caught her eye. The setting, the detail (an infant is laid in a split, hollowed out log reminding you of the earlyness of the period) and the colors. The picture was beautifully framed in an antique style and well made. Everyone who has seen it is taken with it and it will certainly pull you back in time. Even though there were no cameras back then and this is an artist's vision not reality you will feel as if you have a peek into history.
