(More customer reviews)I bought it for the basement where we have a home movie theater and wanted a clock that we can see without having to turn the lights on. It doesn't serve the purpose. Even though the light it emits is very pleasing and not intrusive but enough to see your way within 1300sq ft of open space, yet not enough to see the dials :). Also, even in full light condition, when the black dials are over the team's black logo, you simply can't tell where they are exactly ie couldn't tell if on 9, 10 or 11 same around 2-4 o'clock!. So it looks great as a night light and a decorative piece except it can't tell time very well, which is what it was designed to do. :) We kept it for the looks.
PS I see it now for 99$ but when I bought it few weeks ago, it was for 69$.
