(More customer reviews)Never before used Amazon to purchase clothing so, I was a bit surprised when I found this track-style jacket for my son. Initially, the jacket's color and design caught my eye because it looked like something I'd wear myself. I hadn't heard of the brand Cool Island before but, that didn't matter to me as I'm no "brand loyalist" or brand snob - I will buy expensive "top designer" clothing or inexpensive "unknown label" clothing without flinching... if I like it, I buy it, as long as I think it looks good! I was all hyped up about finding this awesome jacket when I realized the price was unbelievably inexpensive... I'm talking DIRT cheap! Why's this sick looking jacket so cheap?! I became skeptical and put the item in my wish list so I could think about it and maybe purchase it some other time. Weeks passed when I finally revisited the items in my wish list. There it was. I was still drawn to the slick design of this jacket. It's for a kid but, it's not kiddie or sugary sweet like other inexpensive childrens clothes usually are! I decided, "it's so affordable that what do I have to lose?" Received the jacket shortly and was not disappointed! This Cool Island jacket is slick, stylish, and cool! I'm impressed with not only the quality of the jacket (style, design, material, etc.(this is NOT a winter jacket) but, also how inexpensive it was and therefore what great value I received. I've since researched more items by Cool Island and found other items (t-shirts, pants, etc.) that are just as stylish without looking so elementary and just as affordable. These Cool Island clothes aren't dumbed down just because a kid is wearing it. Hip, stylish, well designed, AND inexpensive clothing for their growing children?! Who doesn't like that? Highly recommended!!!
